Job summary

Cogent, Inc. is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in Fenton, MO. The role focuses on accurate inbound/outbound processing, inventory organization, and collaboration with vendors to meet deadlines.

You will work closely with all departments to ensure high-quality standards and efficient warehouse operations, contributing to a growing employee-owned company that values teamwork and safety.

Responsibilities

This position is based at our Fenton, Missouri Facility.

What You’ll Do

As a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, you will play a mission-critical role in the daily operations of our business! You will be responsible for warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, inventory organization, and warehouse organization as needed. You’ll work collaboratively with all departments and external shipping vendors to ensure deadlines are met and the highest quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unpack, verify, and record all inbound shipments
• Pack, address, and document all outbound shipments
• Assist customers by loading and unloading equipment needing to be serviced
• Coordinate all shipments with appropriate shipping vendors
• Maintain relationships with shipping vendors and drivers
• Inventory cycle counting
• Inventory organization and shelving labeling
• Inventory stocking
• Assists in general labor to maintain the organization and efficiency of the warehouse
• Continuous improvement of delivery, quality, efficiency, and safety of the team

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse coordination
• Solid basic computer knowledge
