Job summary

EnerSys Energy Products Inc. in Springfield, MO, seeks a Shipping & Receiving Operator to coordinate shipping documents, prepare transport paperwork, and process data in BAAN/SAP.

You will support outbound shipments and ensure accuracy of daily production reporting. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year experience in administrative support or shipping in a manufacturing/distribution setting, and proficiency with MRP systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1+ year experience in admin/shipping in manufacturing or distribution.
• Ability to use computer systems including MRP and MS Office.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform mathematical functions and interpret Pareto charts, bar graphs and flow charts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents.
• Prepare shipping documents, including out-of-country shipments; ensure documents are completed and filed properly.
• Accurately enter data into BAAN/SAP.
• Provide backup coverage for Logistics Specialist and other department staff.
• Operate a lift truck and obtain forklift license or have the ability to obtain.
• Other duties as assigned.
