Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Operator to coordinate shipping documents, prepare transport paperwork, and maintain accurate production reporting. This role supports BAAN/SAP data entry and ensures shipments are documented correctly for domestic and international shipping.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1 year in admin/shipping in manufacturing or distribution, and proficiency with MRP and MS Office.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution and at least 1-year experience in an administrative support role and or shipping receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center.
Ability to use computer systems including MRP and MS Office
Ability to read and interpret documents in local language, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to do mathematical functions, including add, subtract, multiply, divide, interpret Pareto charts, bar graphs, flow charts, and other quality tools

Responsibilities

Coordinate receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents
Prepare shipping documents, including out of country shipments. Ensures required documents are accurately completed and maintained in an orderly file.
Accurately and timely completes entries into BAAN/SAP.
Creates plan shipment documents
Provides backup coverage for Logistics Specialist and other department employees when assigned.
Must be able to operate a lift truck, and have or be able to obtain a forklift truck license
Other duties as assigned
