Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a 3rd Shift Shipping & Receiving Operator in Sumter, SC to coordinate shipping documents, prepare transport documents, and log activity in BAAN/SAP. The role supports production reporting and ensures accuracy in daily logistics tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in an administrative or shipping/receiving role, and be able to operate a forklift and drive company vehicles as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in an administrative support or shipping/receiving role in manufacturing or distribution.
• Proficient with MS Office and ERP/MRP systems; able to read and interpret documents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents.
• Prepare shipping documents, including out-of-country shipments; maintain orderly files.
• Enter data into BAAN and SAP accurately and timely.
• Create plan shipment documents; provide backup coverage as needed.
• Operate a lift truck and obtain forklift license if not already.
