Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Operator to coordinate shipping documents, prepare transport paperwork, and maintain accurate production reporting. This role supports BAAN/SAP data entry and ensures shipments are documented correctly for domestic and international shipping.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1 year in admin/shipping in manufacturing or distribution, and proficiency with MRP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution and at least 1-year experience in an administrative support role and or shipping receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center.
• Ability to use computer systems including MRP and MS Office
• Ability to read and interpret documents in local language, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to do mathematical functions, including add, subtract, multiply, divide, interpret Pareto charts, bar graphs, flow charts, and other quality tools

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents
• Prepare shipping documents, including out of country shipments. Ensures required documents are accurately completed and maintained in an orderly file.
• Accurately and timely completes entries into BAAN/SAP.
• Creates plan shipment documents
• Provides backup coverage for Logistics Specialist and other department employees when assigned.
• Must be able to operate a lift truck, and have or be able to obtain a forklift truck license
• Other duties as assigned
