Job Description: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

We are a team of hardworking professionals striving to be the best in the industry. Our company is a privately-held independent metal fabrication firm dedicated to providing high-quality products and services across various industries.

About Our Company: We specialize in metal stamping, laser cutting, brake forming, CNC and Swiss machining, wire forms, thread rolling, weldments, and assemblies. Our modern facility includes an in-house tool and die department and a fastener distributorship.

Due to growth, we are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team.

Job Summary:

Assist in receiving, storing, pulling, and loading orders for distribution, maintaining organized inventory control and accurate record keeping.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Shipping:

• Fulfill orders accurately based on picking lists or other documents.
• Drive company vehicle to deliver materials and obtain signatures.
• Load and unload trucks manually or using equipment.

Receiving:

• Verify incoming products against invoices and purchase orders, noting discrepancies or damages.
• Open crates and inspect shipments for damage.
• Record received items into the computer system.

Inventory/Preservation/Kitting-Assembly:

• Package finished products for storage.
• Assist in kitting or assembly of components.
• Move inventory manually or with mechanical equipment.

Qualifications:

• Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Experience with deliveries and inventory control.
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a desire to learn.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
