Job summary

JCB Inc. is seeking a dedicated shipping/receiving operator in Pooler, GA to support the assembly line by managing material flow and keeping work areas organized. This role requires adherence to safety and quality standards while performing general labor and material handling duties.

The position emphasizes forklift operation, inventory control, and basic computer proficiency with SAP and MS Office. Overtime flexibility is expected in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass applicable drug screens, background checks and pre-employment tests.
• High school diploma.
• One year of experience in forklift operation or inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor operations.
• Operate hand tools to break down packaging materials.
• Perform general housekeeping within designated areas.
• Apply Continuous Improvement Tools and Techniques to improve production control operations.
• Apply Problem Solving Tools and Techniques to assist Manufacturing in eliminating defects and inventory issues.
• Input receiving material into SAP system.
• Store materials correctly before moving to assembly line for production use.
• Other duties as assigned.
