Job summary

Nefco Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our distribution team in East Hartford. You will handle pulling, packing and shipping products to customers, vendors, or NEFCO facilities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

You will operate forklifts and material handling equipment, verify items against ERP/RF records, and coordinate with management to maintain efficient processes. This is a non-exempt role eligible for overtime. Training provided and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning.
• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, or Outlook.
• Must have a positive, hard-working attitude.
• Ability to establish priorities and work with little supervision.
• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.
• Ability to stand on concrete floors for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying climates.
• Willingness to review and interpret computer images and documents.
• This is a non-exempt position with overtime eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Maximizes sales potential through proper pulling, packing and shipping of products.
• Verifies actual products against ERP/RF system records.
• Loads trucks and operates forklifts, cherry pickers, or sorting bins.
• Operates machinery including a forklift in a safe manner.
• Pulls, packs and ships products leaving the warehouse.
• Ensures correct shipping labels and outbound truck coordination.
• Communicates consistently with management and branch personnel.
