Job summary

NEFCO is seeking a Shipping Clerk to manage pulling, packing, and shipping activities from the distribution facility. You will handle paperwork and ensure outbound orders meet accuracy and labeling standards.

The role reports to the Shipping Manager and requires readiness to perform forklift operations, verify items against ERP/RF data, and communicate with branch staff to maintain smooth shipping flow.

Qualifications

• Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying climate conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maximizes sales potential through proper procedures for pulling, packing and shipping all products leaving the warehouse.
• Verifying actual products received against items listed in RF technology or ERP system.
• Loading trucks and using forklifts, cherry pickers, or sorting bins.
• Operating forklift safely and properly.
• Pulling, packing, and shipping all products leaving the warehouse.
• Confirming product integrity and ensuring correct shipping labels and outbound trucks.
• Communicate consistently with management and all branch personnel.
