Job summary

Nefco Corporation in New Albany, OH is seeking a Shipping Associate to support pulling, packing, and shipping from our distribution facility. You will verify items against our ERP system and ensure accurate labeling for outbound shipments.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, loading trucks, and maintaining clear communication with management and branch personnel. This is a non-exempt role with overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning purposes.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Word, Excel, or Outlook are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (cold, heat, humidity).
• Positive, hard-working attitude.
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to stand on concrete floors for long periods.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to review and interpret computer images and written documents.
• This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Pulling, packing and shipping all products leaving the warehouse.
• Verifying actual products against items listed in ERP.
• Loading trucks and using forklifts, cherry pickers, or sorting bins.
• Operating machinery including a forklift in a safe and proper manner.
• Pulling, packing, and shipping all products that are leaving the warehouse.
• Confirming product integrity and ensuring correct shipping labels and outbound trucks.
• Communicate consistently with management and all branch personnel.
