Job summary

VIRA Insight is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage full truckload and LTL orders, schedule pickups, and oversee outbound shipments. You will ensure items are inspected, shipped, and processed on time while complying with company policies.

You will coordinate with shippers, review orders, and help optimize loading, routing, and documentation for accuracy and timeliness. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Excel, TMS, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of shipping or logistics experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate computer and read a variety of materials.
• Experience with routing, processing, and closing sales orders.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in transportation.

Responsibilities

• Review sales orders and print shipping labels.
• Schedule loads and manage shipping paperwork.
• Coordinate shipping services and communicate with shippers.
• Verify weights and dims, apply correct charges.
• Manage shipping orders, invoices, and documentation.
• Compile reports and metrics.
• Assist with inspections and warehouse space usage.
