Phoenix Contact is seeking an International Transportation Specialist II to coordinate domestic and international shipping, optimize costs, and ensure regulatory compliance within our global supply chain. You will work with carriers, brokers, and internal teams to drive on-time performance and data-driven improvements.

The role requires strong analytical skills, TMS/ERP proficiency, and experience managing multi-modal shipments across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Transportation, or related field preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or international operations.
• Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments across multiple modes.
• Experience with carriers, brokers, freight forwarders, and 3PL providers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international transportation activities for timely and cost-effective movement.
• Manage daily transportation operations including quoting, carrier selection, scheduling, tracking, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with carriers, brokers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to support shipment execution and service performance.
• Investigate, manage, and resolve freight claims and service failures.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and documentation standards.
