Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Traffic Clerk/Logistics Clerk in the United States to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, document movements, and support efficient operations across production, warehouse, and carrier networks. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely communication with internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of shipping, logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, steel, or heavy industrial environments strongly preferred.
• Experience with private fleet operations or dedicated trucking environments preferred.
• ERP/WMS experience with SAP or Oracle is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including BOLs, manifests, and customs paperwork (if applicable).
• Ensure adherence to shipping schedules and communicate delays or issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records for audits, including DOT and safety-related documentation where applicable.
