Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years in a supply chain or shipping environment; perishable foods preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with policy adherence and conflict resolution.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written, across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage department by establishing procedures and adjusting to meet schedules and budgets.
• Oversee day-to-day activities for efficient transportation and loading/unloading.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and reduce deficiencies.
• Mentor, coach and train employees; provide consistent feedback and development.
• Administer performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions fairly.
• Promote safety initiatives and PPE compliance to maintain zero-accident culture.
• Ensure docks and storage facilities are organized and compliant with guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet location goals.
