Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years relevant in a supply chain or shipping environment; perishable foods experience preferred.
• Strong leadership experience including knowledge of timekeeping, policy adherence, conflict resolution.
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to engage at all organizational levels; multilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage department through supervisors, adapting to meet shipping schedules and budget objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day activities for efficient transport and storage, and safe loading/unloading to reduce contamination and damage.
• Review docks and storage facilities for organization and adherence to guidelines.
• Gather and report bottlenecks, issues, and risks to product and shipping schedules.
