Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a supply chain or shipping environment, preferably with perishable foods.
• Strong leadership experience, policy adherence, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels of the organization.
• Proficient computer and math skills; able to work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage department procedures to meet shipping schedules and budgets.
• Oversee day-to-day shipping operations, ensuring safe loading, storage, and transport of materials.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce disruptions and downtime.
• Mentor and train staff; administer performance feedback and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet location goals and uphold safety policies.
