Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to oversee and coordinate activities of staff responsible for verifying records, preparing items for shipment, and ensuring timely, compliant deliveries. The role requires an Associate’s Degree, 2+ years of related experience, and proven supervisory capability.

Responsibilities include reviewing shipping notices, directing inbound/outbound operations, ensuring AES compliance, and generating weekly performance reports.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in applicable field
• 2 or more years related experience and/or training
• Previous Supervisory experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Studies shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities and methods.
• Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities for accuracy and condition of shipments.
• Ensure compliance with export/import laws, tariffs and duties; verify AES filings; Hazmat regulations followed.
• Monitors space within shipping/receiving areas and directs inbound/outbound movements.
• Runs and analyzes weekly reports to ensure work is complete and accurate.
