Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Traffic Coordinator to serve as the Shipping Supervisor's primary resource for coordinating transportation and logistics activities. The role plans and executes domestic and international shipments, liaises with carriers, brokers, and internal departments, and ensures compliance with customer requirements and regulations for on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Equivalent combination of education and applicable experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments with multiple transportation modes.
• Schedule transportation with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
• Prepare shipping documentation including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and origin certificates.
• Maintain communication with customers regarding shipment status and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Production Planning, Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving, and Program Management to prioritize shipments.
