Job summary

FlightSafety International in the United States is seeking a Transportation and Logistics Coordinator to manage domestic and international shipments, coordinate carriers, prepare documentation, and ensure compliance with export controls and safety requirements.

You will work closely with Production Planning, Warehouse, and Program Management to optimize shipping schedules, track performance, and support cost analysis while maintaining accurate records and clear communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years coordinating freight, transportation, or logistics
• Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments
• Experience with ERP systems and transportation documentation
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments using multiple modes
• Schedule transport with carriers and freight forwarders to meet delivery needs
• Prepare shipping schedules and manage permits, routes, and special shipments
• Collaborate with production planning and warehousing to prioritize orders
• Maintain shipping documentation and compliance with regulations
• Monitor shipments and resolve issues to ensure on-time delivery
• Communicate shipment status to customers and internal teams
• Support cost analysis and invoicing related to freight
