Job summary
Full Sail Media is seeking a Shipping Manager to lead all shipping, receiving, inventory staging, and logistics operations to ensure finished products are delivered accurately, on time, and in excellent condition.
The role oversees daily shipping activities, coordinates with production and customer service, manages freight vendors, and drives process improvements to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain OSHA-compliant, safe warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
- 5+ years in shipping/logistics; 3+ years supervising.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shipping and receiving operations.
- Coordinate outgoing shipments to meet deadlines.
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation and freight paperwork.
- Manage relationships with UPS, FedEx, USPS and carriers.
- Train and develop shipping personnel; promote accountability.
- Improve processes to reduce costs and waste; drive efficiency.
- Ensure OSHA-compliant, safe shipping environment.
- Collaborate with production and inventory teams.
