The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of shipping in a warehouse, strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, plus familiarity with SAP or similar systems and forklift

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years shipping experience in a warehouse environment.
• Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills; familiarity with warehouse systems.
• Ability to operate forklifts and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Processes small part & LTL shipments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Understand the logistics process and procedures.
• Monitor age and status of open freight shipments and follow up on issues.
• File and process paperwork per established procedures.
• Schedule trucks through SAP and TMS.
• Keep accurate records on outgoing shipments and shipments documentation.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure timely shipments and accurate tracking.
• Prepare shipments with photos, write Bills of Lading and other documentation.
• Assist carriers with tracking and shipment information.
