Responsibilities

• Processes small part & LTL shipments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Understand the logistics process and procedures.
• Monitor age and status of open freight shipments and follow up on issues.
• File and process paperwork per established procedures.
• Schedule trucks through SAP and TMS.
• Keep accurate records on outgoing shipments and shipments documentation.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure timely shipments and accurate tracking.
• Prepare shipments with photos, write Bills of Lading and other documentation.
• Assist carriers with tracking and shipment information.

About The Role

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of shipping products to customers and internal transfers. Will plan, schedule, execute shipping activities and ensure timely, accurate and compliant delivery of products.

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of shipping products to customers and internal transfers. Will plan, schedule, execute shipping activities and ensure timely, accurate and compliant delivery of products.

Primary Responsibilities

• Processes small part & LTL shipments, processing in timely and accurate manner
• Understand the logistics process and procedure
• Monitors age and status of open freight shipments and follow-up on issues as needed
• Files and processes paperwork in accordance with the established procedures
• Schedules trucks through systems such as SAP and TMS
• Keeps accurate records on outgoing shipments
• Works closely with other departments to ensure timely shipments of all products and accurate tracking in operation system
• Prepares shipments including taking pictures, writing Bill of Lading/s (BOL) and other required documentation
• Assists shipping carriers in tracking and shipment information
