Job summary

Medix is seeking a Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping and receiving operations for eye care products. You will manage outgoing shipments, inbound materials, inventory documentation, and carrier coordination to meet customer requirements and company standards.

The role emphasizes safe, organized work practices, accurate records in ERP systems, and teamwork to ensure on-time delivery and quality service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of shipping, receiving, or logistics experience.
• Experience with UPS, FedEx, USPS or similar carriers.
• Experience using ERP systems for inventory/shipping documentation.
• Strong computer skills and data entry accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and invoices and ensure accurate picking and shipping.
• Label and process domestic and international shipments per instructions.
• Coordinate with carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
• Load/unload pallets with jacks or forklifts.
• Maintain ERP records for receipts and shipments.
• Track shipments and resolve delays or damage.
• Ensure shipping area is organized and safe.
• Perform daily post office runs as needed.
