Job summary

Vertiv Co in Ironton, OH is seeking a Warehouse Shipping Clerk to support the Service business from the warehouse. You will pull, pack, and ship parts for customer orders and coord outbound shipments, including packing slips and bills of lading, while tracking all details in SAP.

You will verify stock, prepare international docs, process RMAs, and ensure safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of stockroom experience.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with positive attitude.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Visual inspection of incoming parts and placing into inventory.
• Reporting of discrepancies.
• Verify bill of lading, stock locations, quantities and part numbers and store-received stock.
• Responsible for packaging, preparing and loading of orders provided by the stockroom.
• Responsible for pulling, bagging, and labeling stock for orders.
• Generate all orders for daily shipping. This includes deliveries, van stock, part kits, stock transports, and Field Service.
• Create all picking labels and shipping labels for all orders.
• Process all orders through customer portals, Vertiv portal, UPS and FedEx machines.
• Process all RMAs from customers.
• Manage and process all Freight Claims in Database.
• Prepare International Documentation for all Int’l Orders.
• Perform cycle counts and verify stock numbers, quantities, locations, descriptions, and shelf life and troubleshoot discrepancies to identify corrective action.
• Create parts kits.
• Identify stock shortages.
• Ensure that all work is performed in a safe manner and ensure that all safety measures are met.
