Job summary

Duraco Specialty Tapes & Liners is seeking a Traffic Coordinator to orchestrate shipping and logistics, ensuring materials move efficiently from production to customers. You’ll coordinate schedules, manage documentation, and work with carriers and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly.

You will monitor shipments, resolve delays, and look for opportunities to improve processes, accuracy, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment at Duraco’s Mount Prospect facility.

Qualifications

• Coordinate shipping and receiving schedules to support production and customer orders.
• Schedule pickups with parcel, LTL, and truckload carriers.
• Prepare shipping documents (bills of lading, packing lists, labels).
• Monitor shipments and communicate updates, resolving delays or discrepancies.
• Partner with production, warehouse, customer service, and carriers to keep operations flowing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving schedules to support production and customer orders.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries with parcel, LTL, and truckload carriers.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and labels.
• Monitor shipments, communicate updates, and resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Partner with production, warehouse, customer service, and carriers to keep operations flowing.
• Verify shipment accuracy including weights, counts, addresses, and special requirements.
• Support freight claims and investigations as needed.
• Manage packaging supply inventory and maintain organized shipping records.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce delays.
