Job summary

Novolex is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Administrator to join our Meriden team. You will coordinate daily shipping and receiving, ensure accurate movement of goods, and serve as a liaison among Production, Warehouse, Scheduling, and Quality.

The role requires strong Excel and ERP skills, 3–5 years of shipping/logistics experience, and a commitment to inventory accuracy with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, or manufacturing.
• Strong computer skills including Excel and ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily outbound shipments and inbound deliveries.
• Process shipping, receiving, inventory, and transfer transactions in the ERP system.
• Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, packing slips, labels, and carrier paperwork.
• Schedule freight with approved transportation providers.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through transactions, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with routing requirements and shipping specifications.
• Support SQF, GMP, OSHA, food safety, and inventory traceability requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Customer Service, Purchasing, Maintenance, and Quality to meet goals.
• Assist with physical inventories, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
