Job summary

Novolex is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Administrator to join our Meriden manufacturing team. You will coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations, process ERP transactions, and maintain inventory accuracy to support on-time delivery of finished goods.

Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Planning, and Quality to meet customer routing and shipping specifications. This role involves office and manufacturing environments with occasional overtime to support month-end activities and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
3–5 years in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control or manufacturing.
Proficient Excel and ERP experience; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate outbound shipments and inbound deliveries daily.
Process shipping, receiving, inventory, and transfer transactions in ERP.
Prepare documents, packing slips, bills of lading, and carrier paperwork.
Schedule freight with approved transportation providers.
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with routing requirements and shipping specs.
Support SQF, GMP, OSHA and traceability requirements.
Collaborate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Customer Service, Purchasing, Maintenance and Quality.
Assist with inventories, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
