Job summary

Allegion in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a detail‑oriented Shipping Clerk to help move goods efficiently from dock to customer. You will communicate with brokers, warehouse staff and manufacturing teams to meet customers’ expectations, execute daily shipping schedules, prepare invoices and process shipping documents.

You will maintain records, monitor the TMS portal, and support the Lead Shipping Coordinator and Warehouse Operations Manager.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year of logistics clerical experience or customer service experience.
Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of stocking systems and stock control.

Responsibilities

Ensure goods are shipped efficiently following documented processes, aiming for cost reductions and service levels.
Communicate with brokers, warehouse staff and manufacturing personnel to meet customer expectations.
Execute daily shipping schedules and process shipping documentation for invoicing and records.
Maintain and organize records, files and data; monitor TMS portal.
Assist Lead Shipping Coordinator and Warehouse Operations Manager; answer phones and respond to emails.
