Lakeside Book Company is hiring a Shipping Forklift Operator for the 1st shift in Plainfield, IN. The role involves operating turret, cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker, with case and pallet pick duties and inventory cycle counts. Safety shoes are required and overtime is part of the schedule.

This full-time position offers on-site work with potential for permanent hire after a 90-day evaluation period, and a morning shift from 7:00am to 3:00pm, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months forklift experience.
• Able to work at heights of 30+ feet.
• Able to walk, stand, bend, stoop and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a turret, cherry picker, stand-up forklift and walkie stacker.
• Case and full pallet pick and other duties on or off the forklift as assigned.
• Stow product and perform cycle counts to maintain inventory.
• Follow all safety guidelines; safety shoes required.
