Lakeside Book Company in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Forklift Operator for night shift. You will operate a cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker to pick cases and pallets and to inventory items during cycle counts.

This full-time role requires at least 6 months forklift experience, ability to work at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Overtime is required, and you may transition to permanent hire after a 90-day evaluation.

Qualifications

• 6 months forklift experience required.
• Able to work at heights of 30+ feet.
• Able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker.
• Case and full pallet pick - other duties on or off the forklift as assigned
• Stow product
• Cycle counts to maintain inventory levels
• Follow all safety guidelines - safety shoes required
