Lakeside Book Company in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Forklift Operator for the night shift. You will operate cherry pickers, stand-up forklifts and walkie stackers to pick cases and pallets, stow products, and support inventory counts during a 11:00pm–7:00am schedule with overtime as needed.

This full-time role offers on-demand pay, a 90-day evaluation period for potential permanent hire, and benefits after the probation period.

Qualifications

• 6 months previous forklift experience required.
• Ability to work at heights of 30+ feet.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker
• Case and full pallet pick - other duties on or off the forklift as assigned
• Stow product
• Cycle counts to maintain inventory levels
• Follow all safety guidelines - safety shoes required
