Lakeside Book Company in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Forklift Operator for the Afternoon Shift. You will operate a cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker to pick cases and full pallets, then stow product and contribute to inventory cycles.

This full-time role runs 3:00pm-11:00pm, with overtime including Saturdays. 6 months forklift experience required; ability to lift 50 lbs; on-demand pay and a 90-day path to permanent employment offered.

Qualifications

• 6 months previous forklift experience required.
• Ability to work at heights of 30+ feet.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Operate a cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker
• Case and full pallet pick - other duties on or off the forklift as assigned
• Stow product
• Cycle counts to maintain inventory levels
• Follow all safety guidelines - safety shoes required
