Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Shipping Forklift Operator for the morning shift. You will operate turret, cherry picker, stand-up forklift and walkie stacker to pick cases and full pallets and to stow product.

This full-time role requires at least 6 months forklift experience, the ability to reach 30+ ft heights, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Overtime and Saturday work are required; a 90-day evaluation leads to permanent hire, and On Demand Pay is available.

Qualifications

• 6 months forklift experience required.
• Ability to work at heights of 30+ feet.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a turret, cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker.
• Case and full pallet pick – other duties on or off the forklift as assigned.
• Stow product.
• Cycle counts to maintain inventory levels.
• Follow all safety guidelines – safety shoes required.
