Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Forklift Operator for a day shift. The role runs 7:00am-3:00pm, Mon-Fri with overtime including Saturdays.

New hires undergo a 90-day evaluation period to support training and integration into the team. Expect to operate cherry pickers, stand-up forklifts, and walkie stackers, perform case and pallet picking, and participate in cycle counts while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 6 months forklift experience required.
• Must be able to work at heights of 30+ feet.
• Able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker
• Case and full pallet pick - other duties on or off the forklift as assigned
• Stow product
• Cycle counts to maintain inventory levels
• Follow all safety guidelines - safety shoes required
