Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Forklift Operator for the afternoon shift. You will operate cherry picker, stand-up forklift and walkie stacker, perform case and pallet picks, load/unload, and assist with inventory through cycle counts.

The role is full-time with overtime required and a path to permanent hire after 90 days. On Demand Pay and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, prorated PTO, holiday pay, and Employee Assistance Program.

Qualifications

• 6 months forklift experience required
• Ability to work at heights of 30+ feet
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Operate a cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker
• Case pick, full pallet pick, load/unload - other duties on or off the forklift as assigned
• Stow product
• Cycle counts to maintain inventory levels
• Follow all safety guidelines - safety shoes required
