Job summary

The position entails coordinating with multiple departments, generating invoices, packing lists, and related declarations, and providing backup support for various shipment types. First shift, six-month term, non-exempt.

Qualifications

• Two years of post-high school business education or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with international logistics and US export/import rules is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Excel and documenting shipments accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue all shipping documents to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Create Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading and related docs.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve logistics issues.
• Support import/export compliance training and process improvements.
• Maintain filing and storage of shipping paperwork per requirements.
• Assist with LC orders and communicate with banks when needed.
• Provide back-up support for export, domestic and import shipments.
