Job summary

Qualifications

• One to two years post high school education in business basics or equivalent in work experience.
• Professional Export and Import Training Certification is a plus.
• Minimum two years of experience in an international sales office environment with international logistics experience.
• Strong knowledge of Inco Terms and US Export/Import Administration Regulations required.
• Strong proficiency in the use of a computer including Microsoft Excel and Word with the willingness to learn new software systems as required.
• SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue shipping documentation and related paperwork for shipments to worldwide locations.
• Adhere to and promote all company safety rules and policies.
• Issue documentation such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading and more to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate with various departments to resolve documentation and logistics issues.
• Maintain and update shipping procedures and system training as needed.
• Provide back-up support for export, domestic and import shipments.
