Job summary

Culp,-Inc. in North Carolina is seeking a Clerk Expeditor to distribute/print orders for shipping and provide Bills of Lading for completed orders. The role includes daily office support tasks and backup duties as a Ticket Expeditor and Warehouse Systems Operator.

Required are Windows PC skills, familiarity with shipping software (FedEx Ship Manager/UPS WorldShip), and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. HSD/GED is required.

Qualifications

• PC and knowledge of Windows.
• FedEx Ship Manager/UPS WorldShip knowledge preferred.
• Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer the doorbell, greet drivers and assign dock door.
• Daily usage of AS400 program.
• Print releases for shipping.
• Ticket Maintenance.
• Print Bill of Ladings/Custom Documents/Truck Manifests.
• Provide the Pullers with orders.
• Communicate via phone/email with customer service representatives.
• Email shipping/trailer info to trucking companies.
• Sign-In/Out our switcher.
• Prepare printed Bill of Ladings for shipments.
• Provide prepared paperwork to drivers.
• Occasional use of RF Scanners.
• Daily usage of 2-Way Radios.
• Ticket Expeditors.
• Floor Leads/Supervisor/Manger.
• Assist with processing FedEx and UPS shipments.
• Training on the Ticket Expeditor position and the Warehouse Systems Operator for backup purposes.
• Follows all safety procedures and policies and advises supervision of any unsafe conditions.
• Any other duties as requested by supervisor.
