Job summary

ExpressPoint Technology Services, Inc. is hiring a Shipping Clerk for full-time mid-shift (9:00am-5:30pm, Mon-Fri) with overtime including Saturdays. This role ships domestic and international orders using FedEx, UPS, and other carriers, prepares shipments, and loads/unloads trucks.

The ideal candidate has strong computer skills, experience with warehouse management software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Good communication, accuracy, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes international paperwork, including COI's.
• Packages technology components in preparation for shipment.
• Applies documented process to daily activities.
• Possesses basic understanding of various shipping systems and computer inventory tracking systems.
• Operates conveyors, pallet jacks, carts and/or other equipment.
• Communicates with freight providers via phone or fax as required.
• All other duties as assigned.

Pay: $13.00 + Benefits after 90 days

ExpressPoint Technology Services, Inc., a distributor of a broad range of technology products and depot maintenance services, has a full-time opportunity for a Shipping Clerk. This position sends the appropriate products to our customers, shipped via their preferred method (e.g. FedEx, UPS, etc.). The incumbent will prepare shipments (domestic & international), packages/cartons, and load/unloads trucks. This position requires good computer skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable using web-based warehouse management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience and Education

• Ability to learn ESD handling procedures
• Ability to follow directions and use small hand tools and general office equipment such as, but not limited to, fax machine, phones, copiers and computers
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, team lift for large items
• High School level math, reading and writing skills
• Good communication, interpersonal and customer relations skills
• Must be flexible, adaptable and able to learn new methods and procedures as requested or required to meet company and customer needs
