Simon & Schuster, Inc. in New Jersey seeks a Warehouse Operator to manage dock operations and forklift tasks. You will process LPNs, assign dock spots, and coordinate with transportation to stage loads for on-time shipping.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and experience with MS Office and warehouse databases. You’ll work Monday–Friday, 5 AM–1 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.

• Follows policies, ensures tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Ability to operate forklift equipment and use RF/warehouse systems.

Responsabilités

• Process LPNs.
• Monitor open waves and ensure timely loading.
• Assign new LPNs to dock spots; affix manifest and relocate pallets.
• Work Open Wave Report to ensure completion of all open waves.
• Run cartons chase queries and coordinate with full/split case departments.
• Review Freight Detail Reports to assess open ship via’s.
• Watch Dock Spot LPN Validation to ensure docks with 0 destined are closed.
• Work Dock Status report to ensure spots become available for next wave.
• Coordinate with transportation to stage loads and ship on time.
• Collect and organize paperwork for outbound loads destined to CXI.
• Maintain daily inventory of Ward (rental) trailer fleet.
• Assist supervisor with pallet inspections for accuracy and quality.
• Monitor Progress Report dollars to ensure waves are confirmed.
• Perform other departmental functions (forklift/take-off).
• Absorb Supervisory duties in Supervisor’s absence.
