Job summary

Benshaw is seeking a Dispatch and Shipping Coordinator in Pittsburgh, PA, to manage daily shipment processing, carrier coordination, and documentation. The role requires close collaboration with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

This on-site position operates Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, with overtime as needed. Responsibilities include processing LTL shipments, compiling shipment data, creating BOLs, and supporting continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to understand data and make basic decisions, escalating when appropriate.
• Reliable attendance and timekeeping, with a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Process domestic LTL shipments daily.
• Monitor flow from packing area to shipping dock and finished goods.
• Gather weights, dimensions, orders, and product info for LTL shipments.
• Coordinate carriers for freight pickup and obtain quotes.
• Create bills of lading (BOLs) and print packing slips.
• Export and review shipment data in daily dashboards and reports.
