Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of dispatching/line haul experience preferred.
• Able to perform duties described; fast-paced environment experience.
• Cross-functional teamwork and deliverables prioritization.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (basic).
• Experience with operations management software and reporting functions.
• Willingness for shift work including nights, weekends, holidays.
• TWIC card required within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process and maintain documentation for domestic and international shipments, coordinating pick-up and delivery to customers.
• Assist Dispatcher in various dispatch-related areas.
• Work with ports and terminals to resolve issues for Sea-Logix, LLC.
• Coordinate pick-up/delivery of third-party equipment.
• Prepare documentation, monitor inventory, aging and demurrage, and facilitate returns.
• Maintain mandated RFID tags for Sea-Logix, LLC trucks.
• Process mail for pickup; arrange USPS, FedEx, UPS pickups.
• Receive and distribute inbound mail and parcels.
• Examine, record and input Haz Documentation.
• Update dispatch systems as required.
