Job summary

Odyssey Logistics in the United States is seeking a skilled Dispatcher to coordinate timely pickup and delivery of freight across local and regional networks. You will serve as the link between drivers, customers, terminals, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure compliant, efficient freight movement.

The ideal candidate has at least two years dispatch experience, working knowledge of CBP and FMCSA regulations, and proficient with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years dispatch experience in trucking/transportation.
• Working knowledge of CBP, FMCSA and applicable transportation regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with terminal, chassis provider, ocean carrier, eModal, and/or UIIA systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pickup and delivery of freight between customers, warehouses, terminals, and facilities.
• Schedule loads, monitor shipment progress, and ensure timely service.
• Monitor Hours of Service and ensure compliance with FMCSA and other regulations.
• Provide timely updates and resolve transportation issues for customers and internal teams.
