Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, logistics, or related experience preferred.
• Strong data entry and inventory tracking skills.
• Valid driver’s license required and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, and organize inventory in a climate-controlled warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, verify, and process incoming shipments from UPS, FedEx, LTL carriers, and other delivery services.
• Label, organize, categorize, stock, and maintain inventory in designated warehouse and parts department locations.
• Enter shipment, receiving, and inventory information into company computer systems with accuracy.
• Maintain electronic inventory records, tracking documentation, and organized warehouse files.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory control, warehouse support tasks, and occasional local pickups or deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient climate-controlled warehouse environment.

Job Summary

A well-established organization in Shreveport, LA is seeking a dependable Shipping & Delivery Clerk to support daily warehouse, parts, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. The Shipping & Delivery Clerk will play an important role in keeping materials, parts, and shipments moving efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, verify, and process incoming shipments from UPS, FedEx, LTL carriers, and other delivery services.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.

• Schedule: Flexible 40-hour workweek.
• Workdays: Monday through Friday.
• Start times may be as early as 7:00 AM.
• End times may be as late as 6:00 PM.
• Work environment: Smaller, climate-controlled warehouse facility.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Receive and process incoming shipments while verifying accuracy of materials and documentation.
• Manage inventory labeling, organization, stocking, tracking, and data entry.
• Support shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, and occasional local pickup or delivery needs.
• Maintain accurate computer records and contribute to an organized parts department workflow.
• 3 to 5 years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, logistics, or related experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills required, including accurate data entry and inventory tracking.
• Ability to read shipment information, verify materials, and maintain accurate records.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Must maintain personal automobile insurance.
• Must be at least 22 years old for insurance purposes.
• Ability to lift, move, stock, and organize inventory as needed.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, dependability, and work ethic.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented warehouse and parts department environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a parts department, smaller warehouse, or inventory-controlled environment.
• Experience with UPS, FedEx, LTL carrier shipments, or similar shipping and receiving processes.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems, warehouse software, or electronic tracking tools.
• Previous experience performing local pickups or deliveries in a professional setting.
