Southshore Companies is seeking a reliable CSR to join our office team in Normal, IL. The role centers on paperwork flow, data entry, and delivering excellent customer service within the RDC.

Key duties include managing shipments, auditing data, tracking status, and communicating with customers, vendors, and drivers. A minimum of 2 years clerical or CSR experience is required; SAP experience is a plus, and proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clerical office or customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior SAP experience is a plus.
• Inventory control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound/outbound shipments, verify inventory, and update databases.
• Enter data accurately and maintain records.
• Track shipment status and communicate with customers and drivers.
• Respond to customer requests professionally.
• Assist with dock assignments and document control.
• Provide on-the-job training and support to staff.
• Suggest process improvements to grow the business.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in all tasks.
• Oversee shift timing and overtime as needed.
