Staffmark Group is hiring a Shipping Coordinator in Morgan City, LA. The role analyzes incoming used inventory for repair, coordinates material movement to and from repair facilities, and tracks inventory while supporting purchasing and warehouse activities.

You will monitor KPIs, maintain records, and work with multiple departments to ensure timely processing of components using ERP/MRP systems. Strong Excel skills and prior experience are valued.

Responsible for the analysis of incoming used inventory for repair, delivering components to and from the various repair shops. Participate in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assist in the development of effective strategies to improve overall performance of the components being handled.

Job Duties

• Coordinate the movement of materials and components to and from repair facilities.
• Track inventory and support purchasing and warehouse activities.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified.
• Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing, inventory, warehouse, or related environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with inventory control, material tracking, and warehouse processes preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft preferred.
• Knowledge of purchasing and inventory management practices preferred.
• Familiarity with ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) components is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of one of the following ERP / MRP Systems, JDEdwards, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft preferred.
• Knowledge of purchasing and inventory activities.
• Knowledge of principles / processes for providing customer service.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications and strong foundation in Excel and databases.
• Knowledge of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) components.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform heavy work activities in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to move, handle, and transport materials and components throughout the workday.
