Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator in Minnesota to support inbound and outbound freight, inspect shipments, and coordinate with production departments for on-time delivery. You will operate forklifts, manage inventory, and maintain accurate shipping records.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, forklift certification preferred, and strong communication and safety focus. Schedule is Monday to Friday with hourly pay of $17.50–$20.00.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required to operate company vehicles.
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, inventory, or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Professional attitude and commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and process incoming freight, materials, and purchased goods.
• Tag, organize, and store incoming inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Deliver parts, materials, chemicals, and supplies to production departments as needed.
• Transfer products and materials between Douglas Finishing and the main manufacturing facility.
• Prepare, package, wrap, band, and stage finished products for shipment.
• Coordinate daily small-package, LTL, and freight shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, stretch wrap machines, and banding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation and forward packing slips for processing.
• Monitor warehouse inventory areas to ensure organization, cleanliness, and efficient material flow.
• Support hazardous material handling and storage requirements while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
• Perform end-of-day shipping closeout activities and communicate shipment status to operations personnel.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, 5S activities, and warehouse safety programs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting production and customer service goals.

• Frequent forklift operation and material handling activities.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Must wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and seasonal safety equipment.
