Job summary

Atterro is seeking a Shipping Clerk in Rural Hall, NC to receive incoming shipments, inspect materials, and prepare outbound orders. You will verify inventory, organize warehouse stock, and ensure accurate shipping documentation while supporting efficient shipping and receiving operations.

The role requires 2+ years in shipping/logistics, familiarity with BOLs, and proficiency with Excel/Outlook. Weekend availability may be required in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of shipping/logistics experience.
• Experience with Bills of Lading (BOLs) and freight documentation.
• Familiarity with freight carriers and LTL/FTL shipments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, email, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor outgoing shipments.
• Track and trace shipments and communicate delays.
• Schedule pickups with LTL, FTL, parcel, and courier carriers.
• Prepare, review, and maintain Bills of Lading and shipping records.
• Troubleshoot freight issues and carrier claims.
• Update shipment statuses in TMS and internal systems.
• Verify shipping accuracy of quantities and addresses.
• Communicate with customers regarding shipment status and issues.
• Generate reports on shipping activity and costs.
• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, production and customer service teams.
