Responsibilities

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, email, and data entry
• Ability to accurately complete shipping documentation and maintain records

Experience Requirements

• 2+ years of previous experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, transportation coordination, or supply chain
• Experience creating and processing Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other freight documentation
• Familiarity with freight carriers, parcel shipping, LTL (Less-Than-Truckload), and FTL (Full Truckload) shipments
• Experience using transportation management systems (TMS), shipping software, or freight tracking systems is a plus

Job Duties

• Coordinate and monitor outgoing shipments to ensure on-time and accurate customer deliveries
• Track and trace shipments, proactively communicating delays, updates, and delivery information
• Schedule pickups and deliveries with LTL, FTL, parcel, and courier carriers
• Prepare, review, and maintain Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping records, and transportation documentation
• Troubleshoot freight issues, including damaged shipments, delivery discrepancies, routing concerns, and carrier claims
• Update shipment statuses within TMS and internal tracking systems
• Verify shipping accuracy, including quantities, addresses, and special handling requirements
• Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, delivery appointments, and issue resolution
• Generate reports related to shipping activity, carrier performance, freight costs, and delivery metrics
• Partner with warehouse, logistics, production, and customer service teams to support efficient shipping operations
• Assist with inventory reconciliation, shipment audits, and continuous process improvements
