Job Title: Shipping Clerk

The Shipping Clerk accurately processes customer orders, coordinates shipping activities, and supports internal teams to ensure timely and error-free fulfillment. This role works closely with inventory, manufacturing, and shipping teams in a fast-paced yet laid-back environment, providing reliable order entry and customer support while maintaining high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Input customer orders into the system accurately and promptly as they are received.
• Review each order for completeness and accuracy, verifying customer information, product details, and pricing before processing.
• Collaborate with inventory, manufacturing, and shipping teams to confirm stock availability and shipping timelines.
• Generate and send order confirmations to customers and sales team members in a timely manner.
• Monitor order status and communicate updates as needed to internal stakeholders.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including preparing documentation and coordinating shipments as required.
• Use QuickBooks and email tools to manage order data, maintain records, and support day-to-day operations.
• Handle phone and email communication with professionalism, addressing questions related to orders and shipping.
• Maintain accurate data entry across all systems to ensure reliable reporting and order tracking.
• Support team members in the order entry and shipping function, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Work Environment

The company operates with a total workforce of approximately 30 to 40 people, with an office team of about 10 to 15 individuals. You will work a first-shift schedule of 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., typically totaling around 45 hours per week. This role is based in an office setting within a warehouse and manufacturing environment, and you will work alongside an experienced colleague currently in the same role, providing direct support and training. The culture is laid back yet fast paced and deadline driven, with a supportive team atmosphere and a casual, comfortable environment that includes amenities such as a golf simulator in the warehouse.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
